Simon and Fabienne Peckham, who started and run Galileo farm , were the driving force behind keeping a Farmers’ Market trading in Parson’s Green after we were closed by our market operator. As many farmer’s who attend markets, they are first generation farmers. Starting from nothing on a small parcel of land, they have slowly built up their herd of beef cattle, who live in family groups without being separated from their mothers at a young age, and like their flock of sheep, who also live a natural life, are grass fed and cared for to the highest of welfare standards. They are also champions of rare breed pigs, along with their flocks of geese ducks and chickens. Each week they bring to market: eggs poultry, lamb and beef in an amazing selections of cuts, which are available at farmers’ markets and from the farm door and delivery. They only sell direct to customers and are a 100% organic certified farm.
